This is our Yadkin River Girl, out of Geoff and our Yadkin River Bell (now deceased) from the 2009 litter.  Girl is currently being handled for us by Tony Burgamy of Belmont, NC.  She has a 1st place and a 3rd place UKC wins. (January 2012)

Hello,

    I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm the owner of Yadkin River Candy now. She is not a Nite Ch yet, but I will be putting her in the hunts when they reopen this coming year. She is the best hound that I have seen so far, thank you for breeding such good hounds. She lives in a five acre fenced in yard with a big pond and her own big kennel, she is a very happy hound. I hunted with Candy for three months before I bought her from the man that bought her from Canada, I have owned her since August. One day in the future I would like to bring her down to your kennel and have her breed with a hound you would think would compliment her well. Candy is a very good track dog, she has been cold trailing some old tracks that are over a half mile long according to the Garmin. Needless to say it has been a really good hide season with Candy, she has treed more coons than I know what to do with! The longest she has stayed treed so far was a little over an hour before I could get to her, and I'm sure she would have stayed longer.

     Thank you again for breeding such fine hounds, she's my once in a life time hunting dog, and my best buddy.

Pete,

How have you been? I hope all is well. I wanted to send you some pics of Yadkin River Emma. She is from the cross of Geoff and Bell (Year ago). I have been really pleased with her. We are hunting her alone and have been for a short time. She is very accurate and opens a lot on the track. She is not finished by no means, but she is better than some are hauling to the hunts.  We took our time with her, and Mike Edwards broke her to the whistle and has hunted a lot this spring and summer. I had ball games with the kids which I enjoy a lot. You know how that is. So Mike has had dog duty for a while. I
owe him a lot on this one. He has done a good job. 

These pics are of a boar coon that Emma drove in there and put the screws on a short time back.
